What did Christopher Columbus’ maps look like as they sprawled across his desk for his journey westward?  I love how the moss glaze seems to feather throughout the map as if hinting of new worlds to explore.  Part of me wants to go back in time to explore our family history.  Supposedly, we were located on the Island of Fyn (Funen), Denmark around 10 BC – where Hans Christian Anderson is from. Maybe this is their map!
